Tender and Tasty Korean Liver

I have never tried such tender chicken liver. It is prepared very simply and quickly. The portion is enough for many guests or for the whole family. Simple ingredients that can even be replaced according to your preference, but the most important is chicken liver.

Total time: 40 minutes | Cooking time: 18 minutes | Yield: 8 servings



INGREDIENTS


1. Chicken liver - 1 kg

2. Salt - 2 tsp

3. Eggs - 3 pcs

4. Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp

5. Coriander - 1 tsp

6. Parsley - 1 bunch

7. Flour - 6 tbsp

8. Garlic - 4 cloves

9. Onion - 1 pc

10. Tomatoes - 4 pcs

11. Hot pepper - 2 pcs

12. Sugar - 1 tsp

13. Caraway - 1 tsp

14. Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp

15. Black pepper - to taste (optional)




Step By Step Cooking Process



STEP 1


Cut the liver into small pieces, put it in a deep container and fill it with cold water, add 1 tsp of salt, leave for 15 minutes. This will make the liver tender and eliminate the bitter taste, and the salt water will also remove toxins and harmful substances. Then rinse well.


STEP 2


Mix eggs with mayonnaise, add a little bit of salt, coriander, chopped parsley and 5 tbsp of flour. Mix well, then add liver and mix until smooth.


STEP 3


Place the frying pan on medium heat, add vegetable oil, then using a spoon, form "pancakes" add the mixture and fry until golden brown on both sides. I also recommend covering the frying pan with parchment paper to avoid getting burned, because the liver fries quite "actively", but make sure that the edges of the parchment do not go beyond the frying pan.



STEP 4


Next, prepare the sauce. Add chopped garlic to the pan, fry for a couple of minutes, then chopped onion, fry for a couple more minutes, then sprinkle with 1 tbsp of flour and add chopped tomatoes and hot pepper, do not forget to stir. Next, add the remaining salt, caraway and sugar. Reduce the heat and let the mixture "simmer" a little, then put the liver, cover with a lid and simmer for 8 minutes.


STEP 5


Place the finished liver on a plate, pour the sauce over it and enjoy the incredible taste. Enjoy your meal!
